The Peaden Brothers Distillery is a true, family operated, micro distillery. Everyone participates in some fact of the business. Also the work, from the cooking the grain to the distillation of the cool, smooth whiskey is produced by hand. This way the upmost quality and craftsmanship is always insured.
The distillery is located about 100 yards from the main county courthouse. The building is a newly renovated 1945 Fox Theater. Upon your visit, you can enjoy sampling fine whiskeys in the comfort of a handmade, barrel shaped tasting room. There you can view photos from Prohibition and later, showing old moonshiners and their stills. Also, see photos of some of the revenue offices that shut them down. The Peaden family is carrying on a tradition that has been part of the history of Okaloosa County by making fine, Southern whiskey. So come on by and visit the family.
